TERMS AND REGULATIONS for Baltictech Diving Conference 2024
§ 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS
1. The Organizer of the Baltictech Diving Conference 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the Conference) is the Baltictech Association (Stowarzyszenie Baltictech) seated in Gdynia, Poland, Tadeusza Wendy street 7/9, TIN: 5862283688. REGON: 221914329, KRS: 0000468684.
2. The Conference will be held in the Academic Complex of the Naval Academy in Gdynia, in the building of the Main Library of the Lech Kaczyński Naval Academy at 69 Śmidowicza Street, 81-127 in Gdynia on November 26-27, 2022.
3. These Terms and Regulations specify the conditions for participation in the Conference, organizational provisions and payments.
4. These Terms and Regulations are available at www.conference.baltictech.com, hereinafter referred to as the Conference Website.
5. Any changes to the Regulations will be published on the Conference Website and are effective from the date of their publication.
6. Registration for participation in the Conference is possible only through the application form available on the Conference Website www.conference.baltictech.com.
7. By submitting the application to the Organizer, User accepts there Terms and Regulations.
§ 2 CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
1. Participation in the Conference is paid. To participate in the Conference, one must meet the following conditions jointly:
a) register on the Conference Website,
b) Pay the conference fee via online charging client,
c) print the ticket (confirmation of purchase of participation in the conference) or have the e-ticket and presenting it before entering the Conference.
2. Confirmation of the purchase will be sent to the Participant email address provided in the registration form after payment.
3. In order to enter the Conference, User must show the ticket, either printed or digital.
4. Tickets are sold in one variant: admission to the conference.
5. The organizer reserves the right to modify the conference program or its speakers or to cancel the Conference for reasons beyond its control. In case of cancellation, the Participants will be entitled to a refund.
§ 3 FEES
1. Participation in the Conference is payable. Payment requires a bank account that accepts orders from przelewy24.pl and acceptance of the terms and conditions available at https://www.przelewy24.pl/regulamin.
2. At the Participant’s request, the Organizer may issue an invoice for the entry ticket. Data for the invoice must be consistent with the data of the entity submitting the fee and must be sent via the registration form.
3. Depending on the Participant’s choice, the invoice will be sent by e-mail or will be ready for collection on the day of the Conference.
4. The participant has the right to resign from the Conference. Resignation requests should be sent via e-mail to the following address: info@baltictech.com. Resignation does not entitle to a refund.
§ 4 CONFERENCE RULES
1. Participants are obliged to take care of cleanliness and order in the area of the Conference.
2. Smoking is strictly prohibited at the Conference.
3. The Organizer has the right to refuse entry or expel from the Conference area:
a) persons under the visible influence of alcohol, intoxicants, psychotropic drugs or other similar substances,
b) persons possessing weapons or other dangerous objects, explosives, alcoholic beverages, narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances etc. Evaluating items is the privilege of the security services,
c) people behaving aggressively, provocatively or otherwise posing a threat to public safety or order.
4. The Organizer has the right to remove persons violating the Terms and Regulations from the area of the Conference. Such persons shall not be entitled to refund.
5. These terms and regulations apply to persons taking part in the Banquet after the Conference.
§5 COMPLAINTS
1. Complaints towards the Organizer should be submitted in writing, by registered mail to Organizer’s mail address.
2. The complaint will be considered and answered within 7 days of its delivery.
§ 6 RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES
1. Conference participants bear full financial responsibility for the damage caused by them.
2. The Organizer is not liable for damage caused by third parties or the fault of the aggrieved party.
3. The Organizer is not responsible for damage caused by force majeure.
4. The organizer is not responsible for items left without the owner’s supervision on the premises of the Conference.
§ 7 PERSONAL DATA
1. The Organizer of the Participant’s personal data is the Organizer.
2. Personal data provided in the application form are processed in order to provide entry and participation in the Conference in accordance with these Terms and Provisions.
3. The Participant has the right to request from the Administrator access to his personal data, the right to rectify, delete or limit processing, the right to transfer data, and if the processing of personal data by the Administrator is based on consent, the Participant has the right to withdraw consent in any moment.
4. The participant has the right to object to the processing of his personal data, which is not based on his consent, contract or legal provision.
5. Personal data shall be stored for the period of 5 years, with exception of §8.
6. The participant has the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory body, the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, if the processing of personal data violates the law.
7. Provision of personal data to the Organizer is voluntary, but necessary for participation in the Conference.
8. The Organizer may use the e-mail address provided during registration to the Conference to notify Conference Participants, including about changes to the Conference program or the Regulations.
§ 8 CONSENT TO USE IMAGE
1. During the Conference, the Organizer may photograph and record the course of the Conference for the purposes of publishing in mass media (TV, radio, Internet, press) or for the purposes of documentation, promotion, advertising.
2. By agreeing to these Terms, the Participant consents, free of chargé, to recording, use, and copy by the Organizer of the image, voice, statements of each Participant in promotional and marketing materials without limitations.
§ 9 FINAL PROVISIONS
1. Participants are required to comply with the regulations of the premises where the Conference is held, including in particular safety rules, health and safety regulations and fire safety regulations.
