Leigh Bishop

Leigh Bishop is a British shipwreck explorer and a pioneer of deep-wreck mixed gas diving. He has been a technical diver since its onset. His research has led to the discovery and identification of hundreds of shipwrecks, and he has dived an estimated 500 virgin wrecks over three decades. 

He has been a member of many significant deep-wreck expeditions and scientific projects that have carried The Explorers Club flag. He has also featured in shipwreck documentaries around the world, both as an expert and as a cameraman. 

A prolific writer, speaker and lecturer on shipwreck exploration, he has had his photographs and articles published over the last two decades in countless magazines, books and major newspapers. He was also the man behind the original concept of Eurotek, The Advanced Diving Conference. 

He still dives 100m plus shipwrecks to this day and his focus recently has turned to his own forthcoming writing projects.
