Archaeologist, underwater archaeologist, and Class II professional diver. She has been employed at the University of Warsaw since January 2, 2001. She obtained her master's degree in archaeology in 2001 at the Institute of Archaeology, Faculty of History, University of Warsaw. Since 1995, she has been a member of the CMAS Diving Committee and holds a P2 diver certification. She is currently the administrative director of the Faculty of Archaeology at the University of Warsaw and the coordinator of the postgraduate "Underwater Archaeology" program at the Faculty of Archaeology. She conducts teaching activities and field practice for students of the Faculty of Archaeology. Since 2014, she has coordinated the participation of the Faculty of Archaeology in the international UNESCO Unitwin Network for Underwater Archaeology and has been a member of the CMAS Scientific Committee (Underwater Cultural Heritage Section). Since 2016, she has been an expert in underwater archaeology for the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Her main specialization is the Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age in the Baltic region. For many years, she conducted research in the Masurian Lake District (e.g., "Bird Island" – Szestno site II, Island – Leginy site IX, Island on the Holy Lake – Swaderki, site I). She was the head of underwater research for the Crimea Project Underwater Expedition and the coordinator of the project: "Waterfront and Underwater Archaeology of Kuwait. Archaeorisk on the Coastal Zone around Failaka Island, Kuwait," and a member of the high-altitude underwater expedition: "Sacred Lagoons at the Foot of Salkantay. Underwater Research in Machu Picchu National Park." She is currently a co-implementer of the project: UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) titled 'Indigenous People, Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and Climate Change: The Iconic Underwater Cultural Heritage of Stone Tidal Weirs.'
