He became passionate about photography in the second half of the 1980s. From his very first dives in 1995, a camera has always been an essential part of his diving equipment.
His photographs have been published in numerous Polish and international diving magazines, including Nurkowanie, Perfect Diver, Diver, Dykk and Octopus, as well as in history and travel publications.
In 2017, he shifted his focus from photography to filmmaking and began creating underwater footage for both Polish and international productions. In cooperation with the Centre for Underwater Archaeology at Nicolaus Copernicus University, he has documented the work of underwater archaeologists at sites including Lednica, Puck and Biskupin.
He also lectures on the fundamentals of underwater photography as part of postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Archaeology at the University of Warsaw.
Through FotoPodwodna.pl, he is the Polish distributor of Ikelite, Nauticam, Aquatica, Inon and Keldan. He also runs an authorised service centre providing maintenance and repairs of underwater imaging equipment.
