Per Normark

Per Normark is the Chair of GUE Sweden. Before 2017, he used to have a normal job where he worked in conflict resolution and peace support operations. Since 2017, he has been working with diving full time as an instructor, running a travel agency and retail business. He also manages the project portfolio of GUE Sweden. He teaches CCR, Cave, DPV and Fundamentals for GUE.

Operation Spöknät is a project by GUE Sweden where they locate, document and retrieve ghost nets. Over the last several years, they have been active in the Baltic Sea, with a focus on the south eastern part of Sweden. They are also running other projects on the west coast and in Stockholm.

Per will present Operation Spöknät by GUE Sweden. The journey will begin with setting out the problem, how GUE Sweden managed to establish the project and the results that have been achieved over the last years. He will also point at outstanding issues and work to do. Last but not least, Per will show the public project map that has been elaborated and that includes many wrecks in the Baltic Sea.
